In ancient Rome, distance was counted inmille passus, a thousand paces. Centuries later, every road of the Byzantine world was measured from the Milion, the marker stone that still stands a few steps from our door. Mille takes its name from that idea: a place where journeys begin, and a table worth coming back to.

The menu
Mille is a trattoria in the true Italian sense: honest, generous cooking built around good ingredients. Pasta, Italian classics and plates made for sharing sit alongside a cocktail list and vegan options, from a long lunch to a late dinner.
