Dolmabahce Palace: Ataturk’s House at His Last Years

From Beşiktaş to Kabataş, Dolmabahçe Palace on the shores of the Bosphorus is located on an area of 250 thousand square meters. This palace built in the Ottoman period was used as a residence by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk during the Republican era. Republic of Turkey’s founder Mustafa Kemal Ataturk died in this palace on November 10, 1938.

Dolmabahçe Palace is located in Besiktas District of Istanbul, near the Bosphorus Strait. It is 10 minutes walk to Besiktas and Kabatas Piers. Taksim Square is a 20-minute walk away.

You can get to the Dolmabahçe Palaceby taking 25T Sarıyer-Taksim, 559C Rumelihisarüstü – Taksim, 110 Kadıköy – Taksim, 112 Bostanci – Taksim, DT2 Ortaköy – Taksim buses and descend to İnönü Stadium bus stop and Dolmabahçe Palace.

What Are The Fee Of The Dolmabahce Palace Ticket?

Dolmabahçe Palace ‘Selamlık’ section for those who want to visit the full price is 40 TL. The discounted rate is 20 TL.

The full fare for Harem-Camlı Kiosk-Watch Museum is 30 TL and the discounted price is 15 TL.

If you want to visit both Selamlik and Harem-Camlı Kiosk-Hour Museum, the full fee is 60 TL and the discounted fee is 30 TL.

Because the Dolmabahçe Palace is under the management of the National Palaces, the museum card is invalid.

Dolmabahce Palace Visit Hours

Dolmabahçe Palace is closed on Mondays and Thursdays as it is in other pavilions and hurricanes. Other days can be visited from 09:00 to 17:00.
